Hours per week?
Our General English or IELTS courses run at different hours / week. You can choose:
15 hours per week: 3 hours/day, 5 half days a week from Monday to Friday.
9 hours per week: 3 hours/day, 3 half days a week and you can choose which days to attend.
6 hours per week: 3 hours/day, 2 half days a week and you can choose which days to attend.
21 hours per week: 5 days a week: 2 full days + 3 half days (Discounted price, best buy!)
30 hours per week: 5 full days a week. (Discounted price, best buy!)
Morning or Afternoon?
General English or IELTS 6,9,15 hours/week courses can be either morning or afternoon. The price for afternoon classes is discounted and cheaper than the morning classes. Depending on the availability you can choose:
Morning Class: 09.15 – 12.30
Afternoon Class: 1.30 – 16.45
Afternoon classes are a lot cheaper!
Full-time or Part-time?
Full-time courses are usually at least 15 hours / week. If you need a student visa (either Tier 4 or student visitor) to come to study in the UK, you should apply for a full-time course, which offers minimum 15 hours / week. Part-time courses (less than 15 hours / week) are only available for EU, UK citizens or people with permanent EU/UK residence or different visas, such as dependant, tourist, work, business or investor.
Levels?
Our General English courses have 6 levels: Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced. IELTS courses have 2 levels: IELTS Foundation (4.0 – 5.5) and IELTS Advanced (5.5 – 7.0). Business English is for students who have a good intermediate level of English.
Placement Test
Before the course starts all the students will be given a placement test, which involves test on grammar, vocabulary, writing and an interview to check speaking and listening. The students will be placed at a suitable level suggested by their performance on the placement test.
On-going support
The Director of Studies and all the teachers provide on-going support to help you with your studies. Your progress is constantly monitored through classroom performance, homework, exams and one to one tutorials with your teachers. The admin team provide support for life in the UK in general, ranging from accommodation, visa, bank, travel to health care. |
