Apply in person at the College

You are most welcome to visit the College to observe our classes at work, view our facilities and to discuss your educational requirements with the staff. With flexible entry to our full-time courses, you can join at any time throughout the academic year. All students must be over 18 years old. If you wish to take one course or a combination, we will assist you with completing the application form. Once you have paid the tuition fees or deposit, we will be able to enrol you right away.

Please download the pre-arrival info pack, which tells about the admissions procedure.
Pre-arrival Info

Apply by email, post or fax

The admissions procedure is simple and straightforward, consisting of the following three steps:

Step 1: Download application form, and fill it out. Non-EEA students applying for a Tier 4 Student visa will need to provide proof of English level (i.e. IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, Pearson, etc) and financial statements.

Step 2: Return your application form by email, fax or post. Once we have accepted your application, you will need to pay the tuition fees or a CAS deposit.

Step 3: We will send an acceptance letter to you. For non-EEA students we will send a CAS number for your visa application.

CAS Deposit

Non-EEA students must pay a CAS deposit of £1000 for all courses costing £1000 or more; if your course costs less than £1000 then you must pay the full course fees as a deposit.

The deposit is non-refundable unless students can not come to study as a result of a visa refusal. In this case they will be refunded their deposit minus a £150 administrative charge.

From March 2010, Tier 4 students will need to pay an additional non-refundable £10 fee to UKBA in order for us to issue a Certificate of Acceptance of Studies (CAS).

Cancellation and refund

Deposit refunds will only be issued if a student’s visa application is rejected: the student will receive a refund of any course fee and/or deposit paid (minus an £150 Administration Fee). Documentary evidence from the Home Office / British Embassy that the visa application has been rejected must be provided.

There will be absolutely no deposit or course fee refund if the visa has been rejected on the grounds of fraud, deception, forgery or deceit.

There will be absolutely no refund of course fees made after the course start date.

Applications for refunds must be in writing to the College Manager before the start of the course. Any refunds payable under this policy will be made within 4 weeks of receiving the written request.
