When to start |
Medical English intensive courses are delivered throughout the year depending on demand. The course can be delivered to a group of individual students or a block booking from a company. |
Levels |
This course is for students with a good general level of English. The course tends to assume an upper-intermediate competence. |

Skills |
Medical vocabulary (anatomy, diseases, equipment, therapies, etc.); colloquial vocabulary (medical slang, idioms, expressions, etc.); practising the 4 main skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in medical scenarios; information on finding a job in the healthcare industry, etc. |
Objective |
The course is intended for all medical staff (nurses, doctors, dentists, etc.) and medical graduates to help them improve their knowledge of real medical English used in clinics, hospitals, and care homes in the UK. |
