Academic writing, listening to lectures and note-taking, critical thinking, avoiding plagiarism and anecdotal, research methods, and effective reading techniques. |
Objective |
Prepare students for undergraduate or postgraduate study and equip them with a wide variety of academic skills, including: locating information in a book, note-taking, referencing, avoiding plagiarism, Using appropriate language, essay writing, and oral presentation etc. |
Books |
Course books are compulsory and included in the tuition fee. Any additional books will need to be bought at the student’s own expense. Students can buy books from the College or other sources. |
Exam Fees |
Exam fees for external exams are not included. They are set by the relevant examining body. |
